Compare Your Record shows you how your SCIF votes align with every member of Congress — and lets you do side-by-side comparisons of any two members.

Your alignment score
After you cast votes in the SCIF, Capitol Trace calculates your alignment percentage with every member of Congress who has also voted on those bills.
A 78% alignment with Senator X means: of the bills you both voted on, you agreed 78% of the time.
Important caveats:
- Alignment is calculated only on bills where both you and the member cast a vote
- A small sample (fewer than 10 shared votes) means the percentage is less meaningful
- Agreement on bills doesn't mean agreement on values — two people can vote the same way for opposite reasons
How alignment is calculated
- Take every bill where you cast a SCIF vote
- Find the member's actual floor vote on that same bill
- Count matches (both YEA or both NAY) vs. mismatches
- Alignment % = matches ÷ total shared votes
